Safety, health, quality and environment (HSE) is the basis of every process, project or procedure. In addition, every employee and partner is involved so that everyone is aware and an optimal policy is pursued.

Our prevention and protection policy on safety, health, quality and environment (HSE) at work is an integral part of company policy. It is a policy that belongs to all of us, that allows everyone to have their say and that offers scope for discussing good ideas that contribute to the above-mentioned objective. In addition, the APS Group makes permanent use of a dynamic risk management system to optimise this policy even further. As a result, incidents, nuisance and potential failure costs can be kept to a minimum. This is one of the policy pillars within our group, because the costs resulting from this are unacceptable to us.

Therefore, the management explicitly asks all colleagues and partners (including subcontractors, suppliers, clients, etc.) to take VGKM seriously, to create joint support for it and to report any bottlenecks, improvement ideas or risks with the aim of being able to enjoy our beautiful work as much as possible.

Safety, Health, Quality & Environment is a subject that is always evolving. We are constantly working hard to improve.

The management takes care and responsibility at all times for the safety and health of the staff and the protection of our environment. This is always done in cooperation with the designated prevention advisor.

APS Group requires compliance with current legislation and regulations and client-specific requirements. This means that all activities must, as a minimum, comply with the legal requirements arising from the legislation in force in Germany, with the requirements laid down in the VGM Checklist Aannemers and with the requirements made known by the clients, as well as with the internal code of conduct that applies within APS Group. The aim is to prevent personal injury, material damage and environmental damage and, as mentioned above, to continuously improve performance in the field of HSE.

Within the APS Group, the risk management system is made measurable by defining risk KPIs and measuring and evaluating them on a structural basis. The following parameters have been established:
